Wood Talk Furniture – Return Policy & Terms and Conditions
I. 30-Day Return Policy
We want you to love your new furniture. If, for any reason, your purchase is not quite what you expected, you may return eligible items within 30 days of receiving them, subject to the following conditions:
1. Restocking Fee
• Metro Areas (Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane): 25% of the item price
• All Other Areas (including WA & regional): 25% of the item price
This fee will be deducted from your refund.
2. Condition of Items
• Returned items must be in as-new condition. Products with scratches, stains, damages, drilling, or modifications will not be accepted.
• Items must be returned in their original packaging to avoid damage in transit. If original packaging is not available, a 25% repackaging fee per item will apply.
3. Non-Returnable Items
• Clearance or Final Sale items
• Display items or As-Is items
• Customised or customisable items
• Mattresses
4. Refunds
• Refunds will be processed within 7 business days once the item has been returned to our warehouse.
• Refunds will be made via the original payment method where possible. If not, a refund will be issued to a valid Australian bank account in the purchaser’s name.
• Shipping fees and additional service fees (e.g., assembly, stair charges) are non-refundable.

II. Order Change or Cancellation
• Orders may be changed or cancelled before dispatch without any additional charge.
• Once an order has been dispatched, any change or cancellation will be subject to a 25% handling and restocking fee, plus any applicable return freight or carrier charges (if incurred).
• Non-cancellable items include:
• Clearance or Final Sale items
• Display / As-Is items
• Customised or customisable items

III. Prices, Payment and GST
• All prices on our website are in AUD and inclusive of GST.
• We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and PayPal.
• Payment must be made in full before your order is processed.

• Delivery dates are estimates only. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, weather, or traffic conditions, but we will always work with you to resolve issues.
• Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping notification and tracking details.

V. Product Information
• We strive to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However, many of our pieces are handcrafted or made from natural materials, so slight variations in colour, grain, or finish may occur.
• Colour shades may appear differently across screens and are not considered a product fault.
• If any errors are identified on our website (e.g., pricing or descriptions), we reserve the right to correct them at any time, including after an order is placed.

VI. Promotional Vouchers & Discounts
• Promotional codes and vouchers are valid only for the period stated and cannot be combined with other offers.
• Discounts apply to eligible items only and cannot be transferred or reused once cancelled.
• If an order with a voucher is cancelled or returned, the refund will reflect the discounted purchase price.

• Display or As-Is items may have visible imperfections. By purchasing, you acknowledge these conditions.
• Such items are sold as final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

VIII. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as expected, you are entitled to a remedy, such as repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
IX. Return Methods
Customers may return eligible items using one of the following methods:
Option 1: In-Store Return
• Customers may return items in person to a Wood Talk Furniture store.
• Items will be inspected at the store to confirm they meet the return conditions outlined in this policy before a return is accepted or a refund is processed.
Option 2: Return via Third-Party Carrier
• Customers may arrange their own third-party delivery to return items to our nominated store or warehouse.
• Upon arrival, all returned items will be inspected by our team to ensure they comply with the return conditions stated in this policy.
• Refunds will only be processed once the item has been confirmed to be in acceptable return condition.
• Wood Talk Furniture is not responsible for any damage incurred during third-party return transit.
