Dispatch Time

In-stock items: dispatched within 1–3 business days

Pre-orders / made-to-order: estimated 4–10 weeks (ETA will be confirmed once your order is placed)
Delivery Timeframes (After Dispatch)
Delivery time varies by location and courier capacity. As a general guide:

Metro areas: typically 7–14 business days after dispatch

Regional & remote areas: may take longer (depends on the third-party delivery time range)
Please note: delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by peak seasons, weather, or third-party courier delays.
Delivery Services
We offer different delivery services depending on item size and your location:
Standard Ground Floor Delivery (Small Items)
Delivered to the main entrance/front door only.
Bulky / Furniture Delivery (Two-Person Team)
Delivered to ground floor/front door as standard.
Apartments / Above Ground Floor
Delivery is available via lift only.
If stairs or special handling is required, extra charges may apply (we’ll advise before booking delivery).
Assembly Service (Melbourne Metro Only)
Assembly service is available for $50 per item (Melbourne Metro only).
Please contact us to arrange this before delivery.
Delivery Booking & Receiving

Deliveries are generally scheduled on business days (Mon–Fri).

Someone must be present to receive and sign for the delivery, unless Authority to Leave (ATL) is provided in writing.

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
Access & Additional Charges
Extra fees may apply if delivery requires:

stairs / no lift access

narrow hallways, difficult access, or special handling

remote / regional areas
-
re-delivery due to a missed appointment
If you’re unsure, send us a photo of your access (entry, hallway, lift) and we’ll advise.
Pick-Up (Melbourne)
Free pick-up is available from our Melbourne warehouse (Mon–Sun, by appointment only).
Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you to confirm the collection time.
Damaged Packaging / Transit Damage
Please inspect your order on delivery:

If you notice obvious carton damage, note it with the driver (or take photos immediately).

Photograph any issues and email us at info.woodtalk@gmail.com as soon as possible (ideally within 48 hours).
